One of my roosters moves his head like he is trying to pop his neck but Iv'e only seen him do it a couple of times. He is an 8 month old white Leghorn and I'm wondering if this is an okay thing or do I need to check him for ear mites. If so how do I do this? Thanks [IMG]

Have you ever wormed him? And, check for mites on the vent and under the wings ("armpits")... and does he have mites on his comb?

Search here.. on BYC... "worming".... "Sevin Dust for mites"... "worming with Valbazen".. "mites"... "head shaking", etc.

    Good luck.

Also search for ear infections..believe it or not - they get them!
