As the title says, I have a suspicion one of my girls might be eggbound. As someone who has never dealt with this before, how can I confirm it and get the egg out? Can I really feel for it like google is saying? Rather get guidance from the pros here!

Okay so her breast feels swollen like a water ballon and when we squeezed it she threw up a stinky fluid which I’m assuming is bile? It was a light yellow color.

Start with a calcium tablet first, preferably calcium citrate with vitamin D, or a Tums if you don't have any other. Open her beak and pop it in, she can swallow it whole. A lukewarm soak in a tub, with added Epsom salt if you have it, will help relax her. You don't have to feel for an egg at this point, give the calcium time to work.

Is the throwing up part I mentioned normal? I really appreciate your input! I’ll see what we have

I have never had a case of sour crop and hate saying that out loud because now I'll be cursed with it, but there is much advice on the site about how to treat it. I believe a bit of miconazole or other anti fungal put in the beak is the treatment.
Runny poop can have many causes, but I'm glad you thought to check the crop!

oh man I’m so there with you, im superstitions like that too. Haha. Yeah so I just started feeling around and noticed her breast feels like a water balloon. We start messaging the area and she started to throw up this nasty smelling fluid and the water ballon feeling was gone. She perked up a tad after that. But you can tell she’s not feeling hot. I don’t know why she’s pooping runny though. I guess that’s part of it? Usually runny poop is my heads up something isn’t right sign.

Thank you for mentioning sour crop, I’ve heard of it in bits but never dealt with it before. Is it possible to have both that and be egg bound at the same time! If it’s anything like acid reflux I feel for my girl. :(
