Possible for an EE cross to look like an Speckled Sussex?

Is it possible to get a cross that looks like a speckled susex? It is a little early to tell, but my 2 week old chick is looking very speckled on her new adult feathers. She is out of a EE roo and an australorp/americauna cross (all black mama). I Google pics of speckled sussex chicks and mine sure looks a lot like it. It got me wondering if it is even possible for other crosses to look speckled.
