Possible Frozen Eggs

We just found where some of our chickens were laying their eggs while running free. It was about 25°F last night, but above freezing for 2 weeks before that. We don't know how long they have been there. Judging by the number of Copper Maran eggs (11), we were getting about 12 a week when the weather got cold, then they just stopped. I'd guess that many of them are less than a week old. They were in a poorly made nest, hidden in a pile of totes. Is it worth it to try to hatch them?

I'd candle to eliminate any that might have cracks from freezing. After that if you want chicks, give it a try. Good luck.
