Have to be honest here...When I read the text without the picture, I became a little concerned, Lol

The last one is out. Just a waiting game to see if he makes it now. He looked pretty exhausted. I'm not sure how he got stuck. He wasn't shrink wrapped or in a weird position. He just couldn't zip for some reason! Boy, was he eager to push out of his shell, though. Lol. I think I'll keep him and Gimpy in the incubator for a few more days.

That concludes my hatch! I'm so excited I have such cute little babies to enjoy! Now I just need to build their coop before they get too big for me to handle.

Well, only 11 showed signs of development, and ten of them hatched (one assisted). That's a pretty decent hatch rate, considering duds aren't calculated. 3 of them look iffy right now. The gimpy one, the lethargic one, and the one I had to help out. Those three have been separated from the rest of the group. Hopefully things work out for them. I've grown quite attached to gimpy already, lol.

I had one with a gammy foot and the dog ended up eating him first night they were out of the incubator. That taught me to not keep the brooder on the floor!

Gonna try helping poor little gimp again. I've read up on a few different methods for it, and I found one that might work for it. No stretching or squeezing required.
