Hi. 2 of my hens have gone Brody a couple days ago. 1 of them was Brody last year and hatched some baby’s and we only kept the hens of that hatch. The other Brody hen is one of the ones that was hatched by the other hen last spring. We have one rooster and he does mate with his daughters (he is the dad for sure we got rid of our other roosters months ago). So if any of these eggs are from one of the hens who was hatched by our Brody last spring will they be deformed at all or will they be okay?? I checked most of them and did the best I could seeing if I could tell which chicken lays which egg but it’s hard to tell at this point (I have 14 hens). ALSO: the eggs were started being sat on by the hens on Easter and the day after. So it’s been 2-3 days for the eggs so far. help is appreciated thanks!

I can't imagine it would matter, I think line breeding involves a lot of breeding to dads and half sisters etc etc.. but then again, I am pretty new to chickens myself, so maybe one of the more experienced flock owners can pipe in.
