Possible internal bleeding in 6 week old Cockerel

I have a 6 week old Light Brahma cockerel with a little blood on his vent feathers and blood mixed in with his poop. He’s eating fine and seems healthy, but I did try to introduce them to the hens so I don’t know if it is an injury that a hen gave him or sickness

Sorry to hear about your lil guy. I'm not an expert by any means. But to set your mind at ease a bit, it's unlikely to be internal bleeding. Blood will become black as it passes through the digestive tract. He may have a wound closer to the exit, like a pecking injury to his vent.

If you're able to handle him and upload clear pics of his poop and backside that will help an expert to help you. Good luck!

Agree. Catch him, maybe tonight off his roost if you can't during the day, clean the area, and check it out.

Yes, so true. Again, check him out, might also want to have a fecal run at your veterinarian's. Has he been gradually introduced to your soil? Eating amprolium medicated feed? Other chicks having issues?

The first pic is the first poop I found the second one he pooped about 2 minutes after but he wouldn’t allow me to get a picture of he vent feathers

I would go ahead and start him on Corid, but it's probably better to source a sulfa antibiotic as well.
Liquid Corid dose is 2tsp or Powdered Corid dose is 1 1/2 tsp per gallon of water given for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.

Do look him over to make sure he's not got some type of pecking injury/wound to the vent, but not likely with the bloody mucousy look to the poop.
