I need any advice I can get, I desperately want to save my girl. She's a 6 year old black sex link who recently has become incredibly lethargic. this girl runs the flock so its needless to say I noticed she was off right away. Yesterday, I noticed she was sleeping with her face tucked and the back of her comb was slightly floppy.
She has no abdominal swelling, but she's not standing and instead laying down, puffed up, and not very responsive. She's awake, but she isn't responding to food/treats or anything I do to try and get her attention. she stumbles and falls over when trying to stand. She isn't laying and hasn't laid in awhile
I did noticed her crop was sort of squishy, so maybe she has sour crop? She's had crop problems in the past, but it never affected her like this.
I noticed she had a few mites even though I treat for mites regularly, could she just be sickly from that?
Deficiencies?
I need any and all advice I can get. As of now, she's inside in my bathroom on some nice blankets so she's warm+in the dark so she can relax, I've offer her eggs and tried to get her to drink with no luck, and I haven't seen her poop at all yet but I will update this with pictures when she does
