. I surely wasn't saying anything about your post at all and certainly not saying that you meant any forced exercise.
It was written just as my personal experience, nothing more and I apologize if it seemed otherwise.
I was commenting mostly on the exercising part that someone else posted about, taking it that it meant to start exercising him before the 9 days of stall rest were up.
The article link you posted was wonderful and very informative, thanks! I learn something new every day, even after being an equine vet tech for 20yrs...so I appreciate articles like that one. Treatments and procedures change by the moment anymore and I try to read everything I can get my hands on about horses, chickens, gardening. I totally agree with you that we have to choose which advice we follow for those in our charge and also agree about the vet AND the farrier treating in unison. We ALWAYS worked with the farriers in treating any laminitis cases, without them, anything we did was basically futile.
