Chirping
Within the last two weeks, two of my hens have died, both on different days. They both seemed fine in the morning and then checking on them after work was a completely different story. All of their habits were normal, eating and drinking normally, wandering the yard and playing like always. The only difference is, once it started getting cooler outside.. they all have stopped laying. I did have chicks in the yard that I was given but they didn't really have contact. Not in the coop or any where around it. I only have one chick left, something got a hold of the rest.
Tonight when I got home, one of my roosters is acting sick. He walked out of the coop for food, but he then laid down and was not excited about food but tried to eat. He acted almost like his legs were tired, I tried to stand him up but he wanted to sit back down. He also stretches his wing out and slowly tries to bring it back in to him. I have him separated from the rest but I want any suggestions on what it could be because of the others dying as well. I didn't see them showing any of these signs at all.
I'm worried is Mareks. If it is, what should I do to prevent the rest of my flock from contracting it?!
