Possible polish????

I rescued this little guy from TS it was gasping each breath. The other chicks were stepping all over it. They gave it to me. I really doubt think it would make. But three days of care with antibiotic water and its thriving! I'm pretty sure it's a little polish it was in the bantam assorted tub. Any ideas?

It just amazes me with the amount of light coloring this one has it will end up with an all black body! And it’s feathers aren’t smooth right now they look kinda crinkly.

When my Amber was first growing feathers, I thought she was a very poorly bred white crested black, her body had white/light feathers and her head had black feathers! Her wing feathers were white at first, then black feathers covered the white

She did end up having a couple white feathers on her wing where they never really showed and did have quite a bit of black in the front of her crest after getting her adult feathers.
So hatchery bird, lol!

Here she is at 3 weeks or so. I don't have a side shot of her on my laptop and I haven't gotten the BYC app on my phone yet. You can't really see the white wing feathers in this shot.

It's crazy how much the color change is. I hatched some cochins last year and all were black and white, but now some are mottled, blue, and black.
Here they are as chicks.

And here's a picture of one of the chicks, completely black.

Do you have any updated pictures of the little chick now? My chicks started getting blue feathers over the white that I was talking about in my other post, but yours had a lot of white so I was just wandering what it looks like now.
