Possible problem.

We wrapped Abba yesterday and stuck the vetrap to her with some medical tape.

Today, those pieces of medical tape are missing. There are two pieces, each about 1.5"-2" long.

I have looked everywhere in the bedding and haven't found them, but that's a LOT of bedding that looks an awful lot like pieces of medical tape.

Here is my question:

What do I watch out for if someone ate one of these? Everyone seems to be fine, nobody is acting "off" or weird in other ways. I need to know what symptoms to look for if it did happen, so I can get whoever did it in to the vet ASAP. I don't think it makes sense to bring 4 ducks down to the vet if I have no idea if anything even happened.

I suppose I'd better check to see if we have an avian vet here in this little town.

Me personally, I would wait it out. It wouldn't hurt in the least to go to the vet though. I tend to wait things out though in general unless breathing is involved.

Waiting it out, we've had no issues, everyone is healthy and active and normal. Nobody off their feed or lethargic, everyone drinking well.

I'm hoping that they got lost in the bedding and scooped out when I cleaned, because I can't find them ANYWHERE.

Still keeping a close eye on everyone, but I think we'd have noticed something by now, right?
