I just bought 6 cute little silkies yesterday and after making sure they had a couple drinks left them to settle. This morning when i was checking on them i picked one up because it had a messy bottom but once i clean it i noticed something in its vent. I can't tell if it's a growth or part if his intestines.

It is a prolapsed vent. In baby chicks, it is usually from constipation or a birth defect. Keep it clean and apply honey or a small amount of hydrocortisone cream outside and slightly inside with a QTip to make sure it does not dry out. Hopefully, it will go back inside on it’s own. Make sure the chick is offered water and is drinking well to prevent constipation. Poultry NutriDrench a few drops daily might help give it a boost as well. Get that at most feed stores.
