I have 3 gold sex links and 1 Buff orpington. One of the sex links is the alfa female, I suspect she might be a rooster. Her comb and waddle is very defined, the other 3 girls have very small combs and barely a waddle starting. But she does not have a dew claw or (spur) and she hasn't crowed yet. I have heard that even the alfa female may even crow. Is this true.......?

I've heard that sometimes the alpha hen can crow, but haven't seen it myself. I would'nt doubt it though!

How old are your birds?

A rooster doesn't develop spurs until they're a bit older. The easiest way to tell if you have a roo is to see if it's developing the long, curling tail feathers, check to see if its legs are thicker than the hens' legs, see if it crows, and then obviously watch for the large comb and wattles developing.
