Possible Rooster

Its comb is too red for an EE to be a hen, I'd say it's a rooster, especially with it's personality! It's probably trying to establish dominance, and the behavior may go away in a while. Having a rooster can be a good thing for the hens being protected, (and of course you can hatch your own chicks with a roo too!), but if they're illegal where you live you'll have to rehome him.

It's definitely a boy you can tell from the saddle feathers as well ! If you can't have any roosters are you allowed to have chicken dinner,? Hehehe

There are no saddle feathers on a bird this young. On EEs and other mixes, the red patches confirm it completely. But it is male, I agree.
I was looking at the feathers right before the tail starts you know sometimes I say if they're pointy it's probably a boy and if they're rounded that's female. Lol after raising chickens for 28 years you think I would know some of the terminology hahaha

Do you mean here? I don’t see them.

That little red patch on his back is telltale male coloring. If you think he's aggressive now, give him time. I just butchered my EE cockerel at 12 weeks because he was such an a$$ to the pullets!
