Okay - so according to MPC the "Golden Buff" is aka Red Star - which is a red sex link. http://www.mypetchicken.com/catalog/Day-Old-Baby-Chicks/Golden-Buff-Red-Star-p224.aspx

So, this is where it gets interesting - being a red sex link, your bird would be a pullet based on color/pattern - and in these pictures the comb/wattle are not looking nearly as prominent.
