Is this a possible ruptured sac he’s not showing any signs of having a hard time breathing or anything he’s still squeaking, it just started today any advice would be helpful. He’s about 6/7 weeks old. He did not get this until after he ate corn and cabbage!!:(

Did you offer grit ? Ducklings need grit when given any other feed then regular feed

I’m still kinda new to the duck and chicken raising, what is grit??

You can get it almost anywhere in USA
Chic grit when they are smaller it helps them digest feed other then regular food
In the wild they would get it naturally either sand or Little Rock’s
I can’t get it in Canada unless I pay a fortune off amazon do I wait to feed treats till 2-3 weeks and then use regular grit only because I can’t get chick grit
You just put it in a separate bowl and they will use it as needed
Even though mine have outside time all day in my yard I don’t know if they would get enough natural stuff so I still provide it out there for them
How is your little guy doing today ?
