I haven't done the suprelorin implant. It will stop them from ovulating, so if that is the issue, then it would work to fix that. But ascites usually indicates a very advanced illness. Sub Q fluids is certainly helpful to get her hydrated. The implant is generally pretty expensive, and has to be redone usually every 4 to 6 months. If she's laying internally, then the implant would stop that. Some internal layers also require surgery to remove the built up matter in the abdomen, it won't go away on it's own and is highly likely to cause serious infection. Surgery is risky for birds, and they don't always survive that. As sick as she sounds, I'm not sure I'd risk that. If the cost is not an issue I would do some imaging first, before you decide anything, to see if anything shows up they can identify. If they can see any masses, etc. If it's a cancer, then there really are no good treatment options. If she's laying internally they can often see that on x-rays.
