Possible sour crop

Still not winning. The straw is sitting in the exit to her crop and won't budge either way. I can feel enough to feel where it is now but I can't seem to manipulate it out of the way. She's losing weight and although some has emptied overnight, not much.

Epsom salts laxative today and that's the last ditch effort - if that doesn't shift it I'll have to call it a day before she really goes downhill.
:hugs

I'm sorry she is not doing better.
I have never done it, but some people have had success by performing crop surgery. A vet is always best, but it may be something to look into. There are quite a few videos on youtube and threads here on BYC about surgery. The Chicken Chick also mentions it in her article http://www.the-chicken-chick.com/chicken-anatomy-crop-impacted-crop-sour/

@rebrascora I believe may have some information as well.

I am not an expert at all but dealt with this crop issue and lost. Like yours she got better and even layed eggs again, than went down hill full crop over night. She vomited when I picked her up and couldn't stop it she had these thin little noodles coming out of her mouth that I tried to pull out. I had her tested for worms by a vet and came back negative so now I wish I had wormed her, as it was probable the problem all along which I thought was straw as well.
