I have a 2 year old black maran and I think she has a sour crop. I came home this evening and found her sitting under the tree and was very lethargic/dazed, and one of her eyes was half shut. I picked her up and immediately had chicken diarrhea down my pants so I know she’s definitely not feeling well at all.
so once I got her inside I got a bath going and looked at her vent. It’s clear minus poo from diarrhea. I felt around her crop and it feels like a water balloon and it feels like there is a whole grape in there. She is interested in eating yogurt and food but she is just very sickly.
I do have an appointment for the vet tomorrow I just need advice on how to help her surivive throughout the night. And I’m wondering if it’s normal for them to act very ill with a sour crop as she was just fine the other day.
