My friend has a young hen that's been very lethargic for the last week... They had originally treated her for sour crop; massaging her, giving her an antifungal, garlic water and some B12- she showed signs of improvement for a while but she's back to being lethargic. She doesn't have an appetite but she was drinking a lot. The hen's crop has felt empty for the past several days. She also has trouble passing stool and when she does it has mucus. Mostly, the hen just sits with her legs forward and her eyes closed. Any ideas on how to help

Check her crop early in the morning before she eats or drinks anything and see if it empties. If it does not empty she likely has sour crop. Here's an article.->

If she has a loose stool its likely because she's not eating, not because she has coccidiosis, unless there is blood. I would stop the corid.
Also check her over for lice or mites.

How old is she? I would definitely treat for possible coccidiosis with Corid, since she looks young. It can sometimes cause a slow or puffy crop, and no appetite. Sour crop usually causes a sour or bad odor from the beak. Make sure she drinks a normal amount of the Corid water. Some can be sprinkled on food. You can also give her some undiluted Corid 0.1 ml per pound orally each day.

Yes they've been giving her Corid... there hasn't been any improvement though...

Her crop has been empty for nearly the past week. My friend syringe feeds her a little, but her crop always feels empty.

How old? How long on Corid? If she isn’t drinking on her own, she may not be getting enough.
She's a couple months(?) Hasn't started laying yet. She is drinking on her own, but they've been giving the Corid directly
