she died this morning, i found her with her head tucked in her wing, i tought she was still sleeping even though the sun was up so found it odd and checked on her and she was cold already

Could you get a picture?
You don't have to cull her, many people have dealt with this. Some have lost toes and parts of the leg on both legs and can get around.
