Possible uterine puncture; effects?

Last week my hen was attacked by a dog. She received three rather deep puncture wounds on her back end between her thigh and her vent--two straight in and one at an angle. They became infested with flies, but after approximately twenty-four hours they were clear. I don't think that flies got into any of her internal cavities because I feel like she wouldn't be getting better if they were eating her on the inside. Now that the wounds are healing and she's getting around, I started looking at diagrams and wondering about her reproductive system. If her uterus was punctured, will it heal like the rest of her flesh, and will the scar/s cause any major problems? Thank you!
