#3 dislikes the camera. It’s like the chicken knows I’m trying to take a pic
Now, based on their feet, I am wondering if I actually have 2 jersey giants and 1 Australorp in the mix.
When I need to get photos and the birds won't cooperate I either pick them off the roost after dark and use the camera flash or I pick them off the roost after dark, stick them in pet carriers overnight (inside the coop), and take photos in the morning.
Both methods benefit from having an extra set of hands to man the camera.
