Yes, you can place her in the refrigerator.

I am sorry for your loss. The body needs to be kept cool but so not freeze it. Double wrap it in garbage bags, and place either in a refrigerator or in a cooler with cool packs or on top of ice. Contact your state vet on Monday early morning. Bodies must be shipped overnight via Fedex or UPS, or hand delivered M-F. If you ask them, they may be able to email you a shipping label which can save money. Here are the contact numbers for each state:
