We have a baby chick where the eyelid looks like it won’t open. Is there anything we can do for it?

It happens some times that the eye lids stick and a little flushing with saline can free them. If simple flushing doesn't do the trick, try gently wiping the eyes with a cotton ball saturated in the saline eye wash.

We will try this. Thank you.

I hatched a blind chick last year. Being fairly new at keeping chickens I sought advice and information. A lot of what I read advised to cull the animal. I could and would not. I built an add on coop and separate run. Cia, my rooster is a bit over a year old and lives a happy and healthy life with his mate. Doing everything a rooster could desire. 🤡🙏
