Possibly broody?

Oh I understand! One broody for me is a blast, the thought of a second (especially one that isn’t committed) worries me more than anything, just because I don’t want my broody girl to switch nests and then the other one get up and everyone die...I’m happy with one broody, 2 scares me a little, between temperatures and commitment issues lol

I’m not sure why she decided to go broody the end of October!! What happened to waiting till spring lol she should hatch these guys out around Nov 10. I candled everyone this morning and everyone is doing good and right on track!

It sounds as if she is 'pre broody'. Once they have set through the night two days in a row they are ready for some eggs. Moving a broody hen early in the cycle can be difficult.

I have to move her daily because she takes over broodys eggs (broody decided to go broody in the favorite laying box), I give her dud eggs for her clutch, she sits there for hours after she’s laid her egg and yells at anyone that comes near her, I guess this is just gonna be a game of see what happens next?

Two days, i harassed her the entire time because I don't want a broody right now. Day 1 was booting her off the nest, day 2 was sticking everything in the freezer under her tush. I succeed but she still isn't laying again yet.
I have one that took the playing too far lol she’s on day 10 so I wasn’t sure if this was going to be a trend lol which would be fine with me lol how long did yours take to decide what she wanted to do?
