Hello. I have a khaki Campbell I did not raise but we have had for about 2 months. We actually have 3. They seemed pretty healthy, nothing prior to now. They DO NOT like to be picked up at all, and we have never actually been able to catch one before now. When we went out to clean the coop today, one khaki was missing and initially we thought something got her. But she did come back, walking very gingerly. She doesn’t appear to have been attacked, her feathers are fine and no wounds. She will not sit down, and she walks like it isn’t comfortable. Another odd thing is she hasn’t made a single peep since she came back, and the 3 khakis are not quiet ladies. I have her soaking in a warm bath right now but I’m not sure what else to do. Any ideas? Does it sound like she might be egg bound? I’m not even sure how old she is or if she’s laying because we have five ducks and have never gotten more than 3 eggs per day. I know the two pekin girls have been laying.
