Possibly need to separate??

Duchess is now picking on Colonel for no reason at all.
Colonel just wants to be by her side but she keeps pecking at his neck and wings.
She even quacked at him a weird way that sounded like she was warning him.

Why is she doing this?
Should I separate them?

If I do separate, he can still see her because bothe the yards are next to each other.

Are they the same age? Usually they will work out their differences, but if it gets dangerous for one, then separating them is probably best.

My lead Call Hen bosses my Drake around too. She makes him wait his turn at the food dish and sometimes chases him out of the kiddie pool..Just normal behaviour.

I'm just worried because his back hasn't completely finished healing from when he was attacked. I don't want her to start picking at his bare back.
