Possibly sick hen

Ok first of all let me say I am brand new to raising chickens. One of my hens tonight was acting strange. She would peck around on the ground eating and then she would open her mouth and a slimy liquid would come out then she would peck around in her throw up, get mud on her beak, wipe her beak on the ground and then do it all again. Is this normal behavior??

She may be having some crop issues. It's not normal for liquid to be constantly coming out of her mouth - here's an informative article for you.
