This is sort of closing the barn door after the horse got out, but you could use zip ties on your cages or some such thing so you don't have to stay with the camper all the time. Heck even a padlock wouldn't be out of order. Good luck to you I hate hearing this, most folks are so nice and then there are jerks like that which spoil it for everyone.
