but the thing is Coco my dog was 4 months the 10th of this month and has lost his first tooth but the thing is there is like some squishy blood on where the toth used to be. I want to know if this is normal that that will go away or not?

P.S He has not hit his snout in any way for that tooth to have fallen out and also can they start loosing their teeth at this age or not please answer fast because I just have to know so that way I could or shouldnt arrange a vet appointment!

Yes, starting at 4 mo. iit is normal for a pup to start losing teeth. The other tooth has not started coming in yet and I would not worry about a spongy scap in the tooth socket.

That's probably a little blood clot-it keeps his gum from bleeding and keeps it closed, just like how you get a scab on a skinned knee. Or it may be that his gum is just a little swollen from the new tooth coming in. As long as he's still eating and drinking and acting normal, he should be okay.

thank you all after the last post that I have read then I can say yes that there is no vet appointment needed because that was the word that i was looking for lopl ( blood clog is the word) so yea after that Coco is acting as his supernice energetic thirsty hungry self lol

It's what is left of the nerve after the deciduous tooth came out.

The permanent tooth is underneath and will come through soon. No worries.
