Possum attack, torn comb

A possum got into our coop a bit ago. When I ran outside (barefoot, bra-less, broom in hand) he/she was being battled by the rooster. I beat the possum out of the pen and the rooster left with him. When I tracked the rooster down he was terrified, shaking, and bleeding from his comb. I could not assess any other injuries. What do I need to do for his scratched comb? It is not a puncture mark, more of a scrap/scratch.

What a brave boy!

He deserves a good wash and some triple antiseptic ointment. Maybe some butterfly bandaids too? Hope he cleans up well.
