Possum Bait??

Twinkies! They work well and I have caught possums, coons, woodchucks and a skunk with twinkies. Usually, the cats don't get caught like they do with cat food, dog food etc. (except one doofus).

I always use canned cat food.

Marshmellows got me coons.... air got me 4 possums.

No kidding, got at least 4 with nothing in the trap. It was just set open and left un baited along a fence. Dumb things just walked right in.

A while back we had a possum that kept comming and eating our dog food

It was so neat for us to watch it (ofcoarse this was BEFORE we got chickens. if we had chickens then we would have done away with mr possum

)
BUT ANYWAYS. It ended up running off with our dog food bowl

so maybe dog food? idk I have never set a trap for a possum myself.
