Chirping
Okay this is pretty long and I’m not sure if anyone else has ever experienced this before so bear with me
About a week and a half ago I took my rainbow Dixie to the vet because her foot was absolutely huge. She wasn’t limping but we decided it would be best that we get it treated before it got worse. After her treatment we brought her home, gave her the antibiotics our vet gave us and give her foot baths with Epson salt and betadine two times a day. She began to have liquid poop and would just lay in the grass and sleep. She won’t really scratch but I have watched her drink plenty of water and peck food here and there. At one point she was doing fairly well until yesterday. Yesterday she Began to slow down again and today she has begun limping, something she has never done before. I’ve attempted to contact my vet but they won’t respond to me. I know this is really specific but I’ve never had this happen before with my other chickens and just looking for some help! The attached photo is a photo I took before we took her in to get it removed and it still looks like that. Any advice?
