Post hatch yolk-belly chick - final Update

Ok, I didn't think I would be as excited as I am now that hatching time is near! It is really pretty awesome to think that chicks are going to actually come out of these eggs! (at least I hope!! ) I saw a couple really rocking earlier today. This is great!

As of this morning, no pip, but lots of rocking. I am at work but when I get home in about an hour or so I will check and report. I am hoping!! Congrats on your pip!!!

Still don't have a pip and it is day 20 starting about now. Hopefully it will all be ok. We shall see. Of course I am getting worried, but when I candled them two days ago, they all seemed healthy - veined, wiggling, etc. I haven't opened the bator since.

I just heard some peeping out of the eggs! it was SOOO COOOL! Now I am really excited!

Randy, isn't it just the neatest thing? It amazes me how much volume they can get from inside the egg!

It really is, Cynthia! I have read about it but experiencing it first hand is soo incredible!
