Awww, I'm sorry to hear that! My first time doing mail order eggs I got 1 out of 11 that wasn't scrambled, but I was happy to have that $22 silkie chick, LOL.

I hope all four hatch for you!

Oh man, that STINKS! How were they packaged by the shipper?
I had a letter lost in the mail once. It was one of those cards that plays music when you open it. The top half of the card was ripped off and shredded bits were in a sealed bag (thank goodness the money was still in the card!) Amazingly, even though I couldn't read the card, it still played the music when it was opened. It was supposed to travel about 60 miles, it ended up in rural Alaska and traveled over 600 miles by the time it was all said and done. Turns out that my sender didn't know my zip code... so put one that was in my area, but the post office read it wrong... Probably dyslexic. Oh well!

oh man so sorry to hear about your poor eggs.

I send out over 30,000 pieces of mail a month from my company, the way some of the things get sent back, and the amount of time it takes sometimes, I am truly amazed that most things actually go through ok!

Hope your chicks make it. Maybe you can get the shipper to send more? Maybe insure them?

Good luck

Had a shipment of Penedesenca eggs, last year, that got similar treatment. Slammed hard against something, packed as well as any I've ever recieved. Think they must of used them in an impact test! Of the surviving eggs, several started to stink as soon as 4 days in incubator! Got 1 chick. Rooster! He got something at about 3 weeks and thought it best to intervene befor other chicks got what he had. Neck retracted, like maybe spinal memengitis????? Hope you do better! Waiting now for a re-ship from same breeder for a re-try!!! Tim
