Good for this guy! I love it! Why shouldn't we be more comfortable? And a kilt can look so formal and nice. I am planning to buy a lava lava from a friend who makes them next time I am in Ft Lauderdale...of course, I will only wear it to my tiki events

I think it looks classy. I wouldn't mind seeing postal workers in a kilt, especially if they're the poor guys that walk miles in the summer heat.

I have a friend who showed up at a wedding of a mutual friend wearing a kilt.

Needless to say, he is about 300 lbs overweight and looked like a certain character from "Austin Powers". It was hilarious. He took the reference in stride like a good sport.
