Use the blue gold hen you have pictured last here with the blue gold crele.. She is basically the same as him but minus a barring gene. You will get more blue gold crele that way and some splash gold crele.. (white birds with gold saddles and hackles..) as well as some crele birds. And if the roo is not homozygous for barring,you could get a few duckwings in blue gold, splash gold, and also bbred..I caught my girl last night, and I think I will name her Honey, only cuz she's the color of good honey in the sun. I think she has to be one of the prettiest birds I have ever had the pleasure of owning.![]()
Unfortunetly, my only bbr pullet died last night. Going to have to get vaccinated pullets. I am not thinking I'll get lucky enough to get another girl to look like this one from round here though. SO, what color should I be looking for to go with my blue gold crele? It won't be necessary for a year yet... But knowing what color I am looking for would be good to know.
