My eggs are: light brown, aqua, green, and light blue - next spring I'm looking to add these egg layers to my flock: white, dark brown, tinted, more blue. BY way of Salmon Faverolle, marans, ameraucana, and haven't decided on the white egg layer yet- any suggestions? I'm looking for a white egg layer that is mellow - it seems most of them are flighty and small.

Here are pictures of my eggs in the nest box. *note*: I also have hens that lay blue eggs but they arent in the picture

Here's my entry. These came from our 19 Gold Comets. You can't tell, but these are very large or near jumbo eggs. It's getting really cold and wet here in the Carolinas and our daylight is down to around ten hours a day but my Gals are still laying from 15 to 19 eggs regularly. Today we got 15, yesterday 18. These GC's are really great layers.

The Black Copper Marans lays the super dark ones. Every once in a while they're a bit lighter, but still darker than any of the other eggs. That day was like getting a straight flush on your first deal.
