I find myself studying all the posts begging people to tell them their chicks are pullets, not roos!!
It seems lots of us are sweating out the weeks until the signs are unmistakable - hen or roo? Every day it seems I notice signs of maleness in one more of my "pullets," and I groan "not you, too!" I know I am in complete denial about one beautiful blue rock/EE cross that is 10 wks and has a nice red comb. No crowing so there's still a ghost of a chance it could be a pullet.
Surely some of you have photos of chicks that seemed to be roos that turned out to be pullets - please post them and give us hope!
