ok here's a shot of his feathers, I'm new to cockerels I didn't even know you could tell by their feathers!

He is defiantly a cockerel you can tell by the pointed feathers on his back. Really nice bird good type and really nice lacing congrats.
 
look at this huge egg I got today from a 28 week old Black English Orpington Pullet she as only been laying for 12 days now and today she laid a big 2.7 oz egg!! and just yesterday she only laid about a 1.5 .oz egg that was a fast change LOL!!

morning! More pullet/roo colour questions? these are my 6/7 week old supposed silver laced Orpington chicks. one looks like a silver laced too me and possibly a girl, 2 are a gorgeous violet laced ?? But I suspect they're cockerels

my beautiful buff girls were sitting on a clutch of 5 each, but with egg stealing and chick stealing we lost quite a few

So we have a blue splash and a lemon cuckoo (the barring is obvious already) but the little brown ones could be gold laced, crele or partridge??! Those were the options the lady I bought the eggs from said they would be?? does anyone have any ideas which?
I'm so proud of my girls! oprpingtons are the best!!

The two in the middle, in the first picture, both look like Gold Laced chicks
