It has really helped take the edge off a couple colds for me. Definitely not something I would drink for the taste.

I prefer equal parts lemon juice, honey and {}, warmed gently. A hot toddy. And then, only for coughs.

{alcoholic beverage of choice} a dark rum, commonly. If you have lots of money, and don't mind the herbal background?? Drambuie. I'm a simple man. Tito's or Bacardi White is just fine for me.

Mostly, I prefer just not getting sick. 50,000 IU of D3 at the first sign of symptoms. My nurse practitioner recommended 20k iu, three days in a row, and that's the dosage schedule I follow when required.

I'd heard of lots of vitamin C and/or zinc, but not D3. Filing this away for future reference. Thank you!

Sharing this from another thread. We got another 4" today, and that's the low end of accumulation. But it lets hubby play with his plow, so it's all good.
