Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

Here's my lav orp pullet- who decided to go IN the tree instead of under it today.

Here's her sister - a blk/lav split

Here's my double barred cuckoo orp, named Brick. He's small but beautiful.

Here's Opps. (Started out as a mauve chick, but feathers grew in white)

This pic shows her hint of yellow undertones.

"Why did you ask if I was in your garden?"

Here's my bantam orp with 2 of her (LF orp) chicks.

I absolutely LOVE your Orpies. Brick has really matured into a handsome boy.....hope my mauve & chocolate cuckoo boys mature nicely. Im STILL looking for girls for them.....been near impossible though. :-(

Here is Motley. ...my 7 month old Mottled Orpington. He is the best rooster temperament wise...follows me everywhere and is best buds with my Dark Brahma Roo.
And also a few pics of a few mottled chicks who will hopefully be future mates for Motley. They're hanging out with my FCM chicks.

Wow they're all gorgeous birds!!!! And looks like there's some females in there

Oh and last night only 7 birds were on the roof so I went out and put Penny to bed again. And put all the girls inside cause it was cold last night. AND there was only ONE egg yesterday!! And it wasn't from Penny lol but I guess it's because she was hogging the nest? There are 3 but I guess it's the only "good" one :p

Let's hope she's broken by this morning, I haven't checked yet.

I really thought I broke her since she was out in the run yesterday morning for a while.

She knows how to trick me I think lol

He's got a very cool look! Hope you can find him some ladies.

So cute!!!

Do you have a pic of the roo? Can't really see him hiding back there but he looks gorgeous so I'd like to see him :)

Oh and did you let them hatch them or put them in an incubator?

I had an Orpington go broody just a couple says ago, finally broke her yesterday or the other day, can't really remember hah but she was persistent in sitting on the nest, even after i removex her, for 3 nights, 4 days. Finally gave it up though.

We don't even have a rooster, i tried to tell her they're not going to hatch LOL

She isn't even a year old, they turn 1 year old October 26th lol
