Question: How broody are hatchery BO's? I've been told that hatchery Wyandotte's aren't as broody as those from a breeder. Any experience? I'm looking to add BOs to my flock, and I'd like to have a broody hen now and then. Just want to make sure I buy from the right place. Thanks!

Can't wait to meet everyone next weekend!! Well of course my hen started moulting this week so she won't be coming. I've begun to second quess bringing my cock bird. He's just not as big as these others I'm seeing at shows. I've found out why though. He was a june hatch and now I know not to hatch late. So.... To bring, not to bring? That is the question!!

I got my picture taken and might be in the poultry press. I also got a HUGE trophy!!

I just wanted to say what nice chickens you all have. I started looking from the first post but a lot of the pics were gone. I didn't know there were so many different kinds. I was thinking of getting some eggs now I'm not sure what to get. I really love the Lavender. They are beautiful. OH my what am I going to do.
