I also need to say our OP OSUMAN was a very nice and knowledgeable poultry fancier. I had the privilege to see his Akers Buff Bantams. Amongst about a whole mini van of nice bantams.
I gave him the dime tour. John never did finish the tour. We still need to hit one more Black Orp grow out pen.
I will not mention what bird he wants and can not have.
I tried to appease the man with a Buff cockerel, sold him my very top and best BCM cockerel R00PPERT. And a BCM pullet. He still left wanting the enigma.

John's new Buff cockerel is the nice young Buff cockerel in the front left. He had his choice between four.

Well that is completely Sad. I don't know how many I can take to Indiana next fall but hopefully we will have a better showing of those colors. I will be showing in Fl at the Lake City show and I know some others who are supposed to also. Hopefully we will have a good showing there. I hope to show in Newnan Ga. in Feb too.

I like to let OSUMAN pick from a small group of 3 or 4. he could have had a choice from my high dollar Buff pen. But we stayed in the $15 range. A fair price for a godd breeder to use.

I think I showed close too or more Orps then were showed in Ohio this weekend. lolol I went with the theory of first supporting the hobby. Second supporting or beloved Orps. And also to get many APA judges hands on my birds as possible. One was Paul Montieth. He MAY be one of the judges next year here in Indy. I really appreciated his knowledge and more importantly what he looks for. By using my own birds. $3 per bird is well worth the inside knowledge gained from showing so many Orps. And it was fun. Doug said he heard a couple of people saying "is this the Orpingtons Nationals" lolololol

Thanks for the tour. You have alot of great chickens and pens. Gave me some good ideas for some new pens. Thanks for setting me up with the birds and I hope to get some great birds out of them, and im sure I will.
