Thanks for sharing! Is there a certain color you like best? I think the buffs are still my favs, but I really enjoy working with the many other color varieties as well. They're quite addicting.
 
I like them all but if i had to choose i would have to go with Lavenders and blues.

Nice looking young birds everyone.
No more culling till we get warmer weather and I can finish growing some more out.

I decided I have yet to have the perfect Black Orp cockerel to use this coming year. I have a few younger boys who are showing some promise. BUT, I need to just focus on one trait at a time.
That means Boss Hogg is at the top of the pecking order for the newbi cockerels to be used.
The Hogg is not perfect. However I do see some traits I can use. he will be paired up with my best tail females.
For now the Hogg is good to go and breed

Bill - I can't believe your chickens come out in the snow like that !! I have to shovel the snow out of my runs before my birds will even come out of their coop. What's the trick ?
