I'm debating doing that very thing for my March hatch if I can swing the $$, Jody. She is so awesome, that girl. LOVE her and she is the size a Buff Orpington should be, with the fluff to cover it, LOL. That was a weird hatch so all I got was Nugget and two males I rehomed.
I'm interested in getting some Orpingtons for my new flock, and would prefer to purchase locally, anyone here know of a breeder in
New Hampshire that sells chick/hatching eggs ?
Cheers,
Zekii
I have never had heavy feathered hens before and today I noticed my Orpingtons both had some manure on their fuzzy butts~so.........do I wash them or what ? or is this a frequent occurrence?
Okay, I am no longer calling Unice a Mottled. For those who say they are raising Mottleds, that is for you to do.
I now call Unice an Exchequer Orpington. I have decided to build the Exchequer and my White Orpington barns with
SERPICO!!!
7 mo's plus a week or two ole, and performing like a stud that I hope he to be.
