Hi everyone, finally trying to catch up after days of prepping for the show and then the show yesterday. We took a total of 13 birds and yes all had to be bathed and beautified.Upon washing my handsome Biggie I realized he was not thru with his molt so decided to leave him at home and only take the one LF hen. I knew there were going to be some nice orps there but I made the show a "Special Meet" for the UOC so wanted to have at least one LF present. To my surprise my hen took Champion English!!!!![]()

I was not expecting that at all but am extremely proud of her. There were 8 other LF orps and 16 total English birds in the class that she beat.![]()

I am looking for a couple orphington chicks. lavender pullet and black roo anyone know where i can find them? colors are hard to find. i found a girl by me who has splash and blue.
Also a question. is a black roo a good color to hatch and get colored chicks from blue, lavender and splash?
