Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I only hatched out about 25 of each of my varieties of Whites and Buffs. Just using my very best available birds. And am very happy to have a few of each to look forward to the late fall showing season. Just starting to get some nasty weather but was able to pop off these pics.
The White and Buff youts are being raised together. I am sure that a few of my line of Buff boys are going to get whacked here in a few short weeks or even days. Since I am like one of my mentors will no longer sell to the public. Just only to well trusted friends and members of the UOC.
All the girls are looking soooo nice.

No bird is perfect. I am pleased with this one Buff in particular has everything that I would want. Nice color, nice width, nice depth, and a broad head. And is just turning 6 months old. Not to say also how pleased I am with what is coming out of this small trio of Whites too.

I also have hatched out 4 from my friend and fellow TOP NOTCH EXHIBITION BUFF BREEDER who just lives 30 mins away. 3 outta the 4 chicks I hatched from his eggs are are boys. That is just fine for me. I could use the genetics diversity to makes some more nice Buffs with girls like the one above.
An early June hatch. And he is goin to be a BIG BUFF BOY!

My God look at the legs on that boy!

Usually the over large feet/legs on a cockerel aren't obvious in a picture but his sure are! He is going to be a big 'un for sure!

Out of the three boys, he has the best overall look to me too. He will be ready by next year's breeding season. And I am looking forward to seeing what he can produce. I have been very lucky with these Buffs this season that I have hatched from my new Buff line. Using a nice $20 Buff cock I got from Doug last year has made some wickedly nice tails. The Whites too have some of Doug's magic with awesome tails in the Single Comb Wyandotte hen I used. Ron did not start to win until he used a huge White Rock into his line. And my hen's daddy won at Greenville last year. And is reflected in how well these Whites look with Harry's great White cock. Like I said before, you build these birds trait by trait. It doesn't happen overnite.
